Quick start

Quick start

The fastest route through each part of the app. Every step below is the short version — follow the links for the full detail.

Send your first package for review

A procurement moves from a draft you write, through review, to approval.

Open Procurements

Click Procurements in the left-hand sidebar.

Create a procurement

Click + New Procurement, pick a template and a program, add a name and an optional description, then click Create. Your package appears in the Draft column.

Write your document

Open the card and use the toolbar to add and format your content, just like any text editor.

Get AI help (optional)

Use the Assistant panel on the right to summarize your document, run a compliance check, or suggest edits.

Attach files (optional)

Switch to the Attachments tab to add supporting documents.

Submit for review

Click Submit For Review and confirm. Your approvers will be notified.

Tip

You can update the name, program, or description later from the … menu on your procurement card — as long as it’s still in Draft.

Get useful answers from the Assistant

The Assistant panel opens on the right as soon as you open a procurement document.

  1. Ask a question. The Assistant answers from your open document first, then checks attachments and grounding documents.
  2. Attach a file for extra context (optional). Click the file clip icon to give the Assistant a specific document for that conversation only.
  3. Run a compliance check. Ask “Do a compliance check” for a pass/fail breakdown against the preset criteria.
  4. Request an edit. Ask for a specific change, then Accept, Reject, or Reject with reason.

Find an approved document

  1. Click SOW Repository in the sidebar.
  2. Search by document or procurement name, or filter by rating, program, or date.
  3. Group by Fiscal Year or Program, sort however you like, and switch between Grid and List.
  4. Click any card to read the full document. Approved documents are read-only.
  5. Click the export button, choose Export as DOCX, and save it to your device.

Build a template

  1. Click Templates in the sidebar, then + New Template. A name is the only thing you must fill in.
  2. Name your document, add sections with + New Section, and add a header or footer if you want a logo or standard text on every page.
  3. Upload reference files to the Grounding Documents panel to guide AI-generated content later.
  4. Highlight anything that shouldn’t change — a legal disclaimer, say — and click the lock icon.
  5. Set the status to Active so others can use it.

Set things up the way you like

  1. Click the gear icon at the bottom of the sidebar to open Settings.
  2. Choose how your procurements list looks: default view, card style, and sort order.
  3. Turn in-app and email alerts on or off — globally or per event.
  4. Pick your theme (Light, System, or Dark) from the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
