Editor AI Assistant

The Assistant panel can answer questions, run compliance checks, and suggest document edits without you leaving the editor.

Please note

This Assistant is designed to help, not to decide. Every response is a starting point — it should be reviewed, edited, and approved by a person before it is acted on, published, or shared. It speeds up drafting and research; it doesn’t finalize decisions or documents.

How the Assistant finds answers

First A file you attach to the prompt
Then Your open document
Last Attachments & grounding documents
Source priority — the Assistant stops as soon as it has the answer.

Where the Assistant looks first

When you ask a question, the Assistant checks the document you currently have open. If the answer is there, that’s what you get — nothing pulled in from other documents, attachments, or reference material. If it isn’t there, the Assistant automatically checks the attachments and grounding documents on the procurement before answering.

Good to know

If none of those sources has the answer, the Assistant tells you it doesn’t have enough information rather than guessing.

Attaching a file for one conversation

Click the file clip icon in the Assistant’s input area to attach a file straight to your prompt. The Assistant treats it as the top-priority source for that question, ahead of your open document.

  • Supported formats: Word, PDF, PNG, JPG, and WEBP.
  • Images answer one question only — follow-ups aren’t supported for images in this version.
  • Files you attach here stay in that conversation. They aren’t added to the procurement’s Attachments tab. If you want a file to stay with the package, upload it through Attachments instead.

Keeping context across a conversation

The Assistant remembers the conversation as you go, so a follow-up like “Can you expand on that?” is understood in context — while still following the same source priority behind the scenes.

Running a compliance check

Ask the Assistant to check compliance — “Do a compliance check”, “Run a compliance review” — to trigger the Compliance Agent. You don’t need exact wording; it responds to your intent.

Instead of a plain text reply you get a compliance report: an overall status of Compliant or Non-Compliant, plus a breakdown of all eight criteria with a pass or fail and supporting detail for each.

Requesting an edit

Ask for a specific change — “Update the scope of work section to reflect a 12-month engagement” — to trigger the Edit Request Agent. You can attach a supporting file and reference it in your request, and the Assistant will pull relevant details from it.

Suggestions appear right in the document in tracked-change style: removed or replaced content in red, new content in green.

  • Accept — applies the suggestion.
  • Reject — discards it and leaves your document as it was.
  • Reject with reason — discards it and lets you say why, which helps improve future suggestions.

Good to know

AI-generated edits can be unpredictable. Always read a suggestion carefully before accepting it.
